The Winter of Despair

thCAEXPP8U

Today it’s cold to say the least
The bitter winds grab you like a savaged beast.
My mind started to wonder about those who have no heat
Searching for warmth not something to eat.
Young and old toes walking for relief
Homes like an ice box containing worry and grief.
Who will give them shelter?
Who will care?
For them this season is called ‘the winter of despair’. ©
