Sad Beauty

sad_beauty_2_by_chaosTHE5th

We live in a world today where sadness, depression, loneliness and lost hopes thrive in the lives of too many people. The beauty of life is often lost in the struggles and harshness of everyday living. There’s beauty all around and yet people are miserable. They seldom laugh and enjoy life. When you’re looking down, it’s hard to see the beauty all around you. When sadness fills your eyes, it’s hard to see the beauty in you.

Profound thoughts! I powerwalk every morning and enjoy seeing the beauty around me: the clouds, the sunshine when it is out, the cooler weather when it is not, the birds, the spider webs with dew, the buds and flowers and so many, many wonderful distractions. When I see fellow-walkers and they are looking down, I feel at times like stopping them to say, ‘look up – enjoy all that is around you.’ I do however, always greet them with a smile and a ‘good morning.’ 🙂 Thanks for sharing. Love your site – it is colourful and cheery.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing a wonderful part of your everyday life. It’s an awesome thing to be able to find joy and beauty in things others seem to barely notice. Hugs and Love! Valarie
