How different your world would be if you could just walk through a door. What do you think or hope it would look like?
Tell me, what do you imagine lies on the other side?
Why do you look away? Is it not your problem or responsibility?
Maybe it’s because of fear or embarrassment. If you don’t acknowledge it, it’ll go away.
Eye contact can sometimes prick your heart and make it harder to look away and you feel guilty and helpless when you do.
Are you concerned with what others will say and think?
I guess it’s easier to allow yourself to not see at all!
Do you see the light of despair shining in her eyes?
How about the hands that have dug through the trash of hope?
A face that longs to be seen but chooses to hide instead.
Maybe she’s looking beyond today for a better tomorrow.
Or, perhaps she has zoned out because reality is too painful.
Do you think she still dreams?
Tell me “What do you see?”
How many times have you looked back over your life and wish you could change something’s. How many times have you said or thought, ‘If only I knew then what I know now’.
The past is history, today is now and tomorrow is unknown.
There are people who planned for tomorrow yesterday but never lived to see it today. There are people who have plans for tonight but won’t live beyond this afternoon.
Enjoy every moment! Love every minute! Hugs & Love from me to you. Valarie
Alone Or Lonely
Alone or lonely which one am I?
Hmmm let me see, I can’t decide.
If I was alone you wouldn’t be listening to me.
Maybe just I’m lonely!
Or could it be I’m in between.
Wanting to be alone but needing to be seen!
I think I want to be alone.
No-one calls on the phone.
Spending some quiet time in a quiet place
Just needing my own space!
Hours and hours with me and me only
Sigh… Now I’m feeling lonely!

There’s no greater gift then love. With that said it’s a gift often taken for granted in the giving and/or receiving of it being automatically understood telepathically. (What does that mean? Yep, that’s exactly how they feel with those gray emotions).
Try show and tell, that way no-one has infer what you’re thinking and assume what your actions could’ve meant. Gifts are great but words make them even better. Don’t for get to say…”I Love You!”
I saw a post from Simple Life on 21 days of gratitude challenge. I thought wow, that’s awesome, 21 days to share why you’re grateful. I’m grateful for the ability to see others through the eyes of love. Regardless of how someone acts, my response is a choice. No-one can make me respond a certain way. My response good or bad is solely on me.
I’m thankful and grateful for all the love, encouragement and support I receive from family and friends, as well as patience and longsuffering of my flaws. I’m grateful to God for creating me the way he has, the more I learn of myself, the more I see how special I am.
With anything else understanding how special you are will help you to see how unique and special others are too!
Having an attitude of gratitude will help to keep you humble and appreciative of everything you’ve been blessed to receive and keep you from comparing yourself to others. Valarie Lovelight
Love chooses to see, believe, and hope for the best!
